Our practice is out of network with all insurance companies for all services. If you have questions about this process, please see our FAQs page. There, we offer some brief information about why we’ve chosen not to remain in network with insurance companies, but we're happy to share more with you during a free consultation. Therapy is a significant investment of your time, energy, and money. We are committed to honoring the investment that you make to your well-being, and we will provide intentional attention to your growth. Please see below for the fee schedules, which are organized by provider.

  • Initial assessment: $210

  • Individual therapy (55 minute): $185

  • Individual therapy (85 minute) $280

Because Maggie is licensed in multiple states and the “Usual and Customary Rates” differ in different locations, her fees vary depending on where you are located.

SO YOU WANT TO USE YOUR

OUT-OF-NETWORK BENEFITS

If you wish to utilize your out-of-network benefits through your insurance provider, you need to contact your insurance company to find out more about your individual benefits for your insurance plan. You can also check your benefits through Reimbursify. Below are some questions you may want to ask your insurance company if you choose to call them directly. Please note that reimbursement is never guaranteed, and you will be responsible for the up-front full session fee if you go this route. You can read more about how to call your insurance company and what questions to ask by clicking here.

questions to ask

If you are considering seeking OON reimbursement from insurance, please contact your insurance provider to find out the following:

  • Do you cover CPT codes 90791, 90834, and 90837 with diagnosis?

  • What is my out-of-network deductible?

  • What is my coinsurance rate for out-of-network outpatient mental health services?

  • Is prior authorization required?

  • Do I need a referral before seeking mental health services?

  • Is there a session limit?

Some insurance companies make it difficult to receive reimbursement for services. We do not guarantee reimbursement. As a courtesy we provide superbills (a receipt for services), which means that you pay your provider their full fee, you file the claim directly, and the insurance company reimburses you directly.

payment

In order to both organize their practice and guarantee clients regular times, your provider schedules a single weekly (or biweekly) time slot for clients. Missed sessions are not billable to insurance and will be charged to the client. The practice has a 48-hour cancellation policy and charges the full fee of the session for all clients if an appointment is missed or canceled without 48+ hour notice, except in cases of true emergency.

We accept payment for services by credit card or FSA/HSA at the time of session. We use a HIPAA compliant app called IvyPay which is specifically designed for therapists. Your provider never sees your credit card information but it is stored safely and encrypted on the app.
